More Than Football

Dads. Support.
Football. And the babies we play for.

A football club for dads affected by baby loss. Around the Solent since 2019.

Dads who get it

Every member of UBL FC has lost their baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or neo natal death. Since 2019 we’ve been getting together and representing our little ones memories by meeting up and supporting one another through football.

Peer support through football

Come along. No pressure.

We meet every Wednesday and have a very mixed ability group in terms of ability and fitness, so please feel free to come along and meet a few of us and see if it’s for you. Get in touch and we’ll send you the details.

Wednesday training is for men aged 18 and over: Dads, Grandads, Uncles and Brothers affected by babyloss.

What we do

Wednesday training

Every week. Come when you can.

League football

We play in the Gosport and Fareham League.

Charity games and events

Matches and days out that raise money and bring everyone together.

Their names on our shirts

Every player wears his baby’s name(s) under the badge. They’re with us every time we walk out to represent them.
